The Y is the only place that fosters a healthy body and healthy spirit. And we do that by bringing people together to create a community and memories with our Active Older Adults (AOA) programs.
ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS (AOA)
The Y has fitness classes specifically designed for older adults. They give participants an opportunity to stay physically active, or in some cases, overcome their fear of exercise and begin being physically active. Y Active Older Adult fitness programs accommodate a wide variety of interests and functional abilities of older adults. Active Older Adults programs include water exercise, yoga, tai chi, and strength and stretching classes.
The Skagit Valley Family YMCA has partnered with several Medicare Supplement plans that may pay a portion, if not all of your membership fees. Check your insurance plan for eligibilty and details.
