Main Y Location
The Y is looking for an Aquatic Director to develop, organize, implement and run safe, high-quality aquatic programs for our members and the community. Candidates must have current lifeguard and CPR certifications and at least two years aquatic management experience. This will be an exciting opportunity to help prepare for our new 2 pool natatorium in our new building on Hoag Road This position is full-time, with benefits.

The Childcare Department is hiring Assistant Teachers for our Before & After School sites in Anacortes, Burlington, Sedro-Woolley, and Mount Vernon.

Early Learning Center
The Childcare Department is hiring for our Early Learning Centers. We are looking for energetic, loving, creative teachers for groups of infants/tots and preschoolers in our Mount Vernon and Anacortes centers. Morning and afternoon schedules vary from 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday thru Friday. Experience with these age groups and lesson planning preferred. Current CPR/First Aid, TB test, HIV/AIDS/BBP training, food handlers permit and DEL background clearance check will be required but not all certifications are needed at the time of hiring.

YMCA Sports Center
The Sports Center is hiring for a Site Supervisor. This position is responsible for overseeing activities including, but not limited to, private rentals, youth practices/games, adult games, etc. Site Superviors must also be able to check adult players into their games using our computer system. Must be willing to lead/coach 3-5yr. olds for Bitty sports (soccer, basketball, t-ball and flag football). Having a basic knowledge of sports is very helpful, but can be learned if you have the desire. Must be available to work nights and weekends (15-25 hours per week). $11.00/hr. to start.

YMCA Sports Center
SATURDAYS ONLY! Must be dependable, punctual, and sports minded. Prior referee experience with youth sports is a plus, but not required. Our youth sports include soccer, flag football, volleyball and basketball. $11/hr. to start, 4-8 hours per week.

YMCA Oasis Teen Shelter
The Oasis Teen Shelter is looking for an Outreach Coordinator who will facilitate all outreach activities and directly supervise outreach staff. The program’s purpose is to support street homeless youth ages 12-18 years old in exploring the options that are available to them for finding stable housing and also assisting at-risk youth ages 12-18 in finding the supports necessary to prevent homelessness. Bachelor’s degree in social services or closely related field from an accredited school plus 2 years previous experience working with youth OR some combination of equivalent education and experience.  At least 1 year previous experience in street outreach. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

YMCA Oasis Teen Shelter
YMCA Oasis Teen Shelter is hiring for both part-time and on-call Homeless Prevention Specialists. Work directly with homeless and at-risk teens in our community to support them in reaching their goals as they approach adulthood. High school or equivalent degree required, must have at least one year of previous experience working with youth. YMCA Oasis Daylight Center

The YMCA Oasis Daylight Center is hiring for a part time activity guide. Working with youth 13-17 in a residential environment to play games, cook, art, workshops, cleaning, and much more. The hours are Mon-Fri 2:30-6:30 and weekends 11:30-6:30. Looking for people who can work at least 3 days a week and some weekends.

The Skagit Y is looking for a full-time Building Superintendent to be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to our facilities and to supervise the cleaning crew. This position is responsible for keeping the facilities safe, clean and functioning properly for members. Candidates must have general maintenance knowledge, including HVAC and low pressure boiler systems, and supervisory experience. Certified Pool operator certification is preferred, but not required. This is a full-time, benefits position.
