Our Y School-Age program is offered for children in grades K-5 before and after school. These programs provide an extension of the school day as we work closely with teachers to reinforce learning from the classroom. Our staff provide a balance of playtime and enrichment time for children. Whether your child is participating in a structured activity or free play, our staff consistently teach all Y children the Y values of caring, honest, respect, and responsibility by demonstrating and reinforcing positive behaviors.
Care During COVID-19
Throughout the pandemic, our School-Age program has adapted to meet our community’s greatest needs. We are working in partnership with the Mount Vernon, Burlington-Edison, and Anacortes school districts to provide full-day care and virtual learning assistance for school-age children. Sites include:
- Rowley Elementary
- Jefferson Elementary
- Westview Elementary
- Whitney Elementary
