Emergency Childcare

As the largest childcare provider in Skagit County, we are standing behind the families who are still out serving our community. While many are doing their part to slow the spread of the virus by staying home, our health care providers, emergency personnel, and supply chain workers are working long shifts to care for our community. However, with school closures, affected families are suddenly searching for affordable childcare.

The Skagit Valley Family YMCA is offering emergency childcare to first responders, healthcare providers, supply chain workers, grocery store staff and pharmacy workers. This drop-in service is available for school-age children (K-6). Children will need to be signed in and out by a guardian.
