Providing Access to All
At the Skagit Valley Family YMCA, our goal is to welcome everyone regardless of their ability to pay. That’s why, with the support of our donors, we offer a financial assistance program based on the current national poverty guidelines to help everyone access our healthy living resources and programs.
If at any time, you need assistance in order to start or maintain your Y membership, please follow the steps below:
- Email [email protected] to let us know that you would like to apply for Financial Aid to access our main Y facilities.
- Our team will then ask you to fill out the Membership and Financial Agreement form and email it back along with proof of income. Proof of income can be a month’s worth of paystubs, and/or copies of award letters for any assistance you may receive.
- Once your request is approved, our team will email you a confirmation with the level of assistance you qualify for and how long it will last.
- To activate your discounted membership, please visit our Welcome Center with a valid payment method and state ID.
If you are still in need of assistance at the end of your approved discount period, please repeat the steps above to reapply.
