Every child deserves equitable opportunities to learn and play. That’s why for national #ydayofgiving on Tuesday, March 1, the Skagit Y is raising funds in support of youth development!
We nurture the potential of every child through a variety of Y camp, childcare, and youth wellness programs, including:
- Programs grounded in the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility at Camp Anderson, Y Discover Camp and Y Kids Summer Day Camp.
- A partnership with the Mount Vernon School District to provide Safety Around Water skills and afterschool recreation to 4th and 5th grade students who may not otherwise have access to paid childcare programs.
- Nearly a dozen childcare sites serving children aged 1 year to 5th grade.
This #ydayofgiving, we ask you to invest in youth with us. Funds raised directly support the ability for youth in our community, regardless of family finances, to access essential programs, scholarships and financial assistance.
Consider donating to support youth development today!
Similar to #GivingTuesday in late November, Y Day of Giving is an annual one-day fundraising event that provides an opportunity to give to your local Y. More info at www.skagitymca.org/give.
