To keep the Y accessible to all, we offer income-based financial assistance to qualifying individuals and families. Learn more and apply at www.skagitymca.org/y-for-all.
We also have discounts available for Educators/School-District employees, First Responders, Active/Retired Military members, Skagit County employees, and local healthcare provider employees. Ask a Welcome Center staffer for more information.
Payment Processing Change
Also starting in January 2026, we’ll be switching to a new payment processing partner that works seamlessly with our current membership system. This update will make our billing process more efficient and reliable, helping provide the best experience possible for you and our entire Y community.
With this change, you’ll enjoy new conveniences designed to make life easier, including an automatic card updater that refreshes your stored credit or debit card information. No more worrying about expired cards—your membership will stay active without interruption and help keep you focused on what matters most: your health, your goals, and the Y community.
Included with the new payment processing change:
- Service Fee: Replacing the current flat $3.00 Bank Card Processing Fee, the new payment processing partner will collect a 2.92% service fee on debit and credit card payments. For ACH bank draft transactions, a $0.45 fee will be charged. The fees cover third-party processing costs and are not retained by the YMCA. Note: These apply to all transactions, including membership and program fees.
- Need an assist in changing your payment method? Check out this video or visit the Support Center page for instructions.
- Nonpayment Fee : If a payment is declined, our payment processor will continue to attempt processing for up to 90 days. A $25 fee will apply to all declined payments or returned checks. This $25 fee covers third-party costs and is not retained by the YMCA. Note: Communications about declined payments will come directly from our payment processor, Daxko, not the YMCA.
Updated Terms and Conditions
We’ve updated our Membership Billing Terms and Conditions, which will go into effect on January 1, 2026. You can find the updated version on our Support Center page linked here.
You do not need to take any action in response to these updates. Your continued membership or involvement in Y programs will be subject to the updated terms and conditions starting on January 1, 2026.
Thank you for being part of the Skagit Y community. Together, we’re building a stronger, healthier Skagit Valley. If you have any questions, please contact our Welcome Center team.
Sincerely,
Dean Snider, CEO
