There are no skill prerequisites for adults joining this class. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age.
This class is designed for adults who have little to no experience in the water. Participants will learn how to be safe in/around the water along with basic swimming skills including breathing, floats, glides, kicking, forward progression, and treading.
Lessons will take place in the Lap Pool, which ranges in depth from 3.5′ – 7′ deep and is typically 81º F.

This class is designed for adults who have the basic skills of swimming and are wanting to develop the technical components of specific strokes and begin working on endurance. This class will focus on introducing the technical components of freestyle and backstroke, and will also introduce breaststroke, butterfly, turns, and starts.
