At Skagit Y, we believe a strong community can be achieved when we invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors. Beyond our gym and aquatics center, we also provide quality early childhood education, after-school programs, and camps. Additionally, our social impact division provides support and resources for at-risk youth in Skagit County.
As we continue to empower people to be healthier in mind, body, and spirit, we’re thrilled to announce our new partnership with FreeWill.
FreeWill is a FREE, secure online resource that makes creating a will more accessible, helping you create your will in just 20 minutes at no cost. By documenting your wishes in a will, you can protect the individuals in your life, plan for all of your assets, and even include an optional gift to the Skagit Y to build your legacy with us.
August is National Make-A-Will Month, which calls everyone to record their wishes in this important document. These choices include who should be the trusted guardian of your children and pets, how you want your assets to be distributed, and more.
FreeWill can also help you plan your beneficiaries for assets not included in your will, such as an IRA, 401(k), or life-insurance policy.
Plus, if you include a gift of any size to the Skagit Y in your plans (entirely optional and of no cost to you today), you join us in sustaining our programs long into the future—from our gym and aquatics center to resources for at-risk youth in Skagit County.
If you’ve already included a gift to the Skagit Y in your will, please let us know so we can thank you and ensure our records are up-to-date.
