MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR
The Skagit Valley Family YMCA is looking for qualified applicants to be responsible for the creation and execution of our association marketing strategy and to tell our stories to and about the Skagit Y. This is a full-time, salaried position with a starting range between $48k-$52k annually.

ASSISTANT AQUATICS DIRECTOR
The Aquatics Department is looking for an energetic, self starting assistant Aquatics Director that will assist in numerous aspects of aquatic staff management and in the development, organization and implementation of high quality, member-focused YMCA aquatic programs.   YMCA SLI V6 Certified Swim Instructor, Lifeguard Trainer, Water Safety Trainer, and/or Lifeguard Management certifications preferred. At least 2 years’ experience in working in an aquatic environment.  This is a full time position with benefits.

SWIM INSTRUCTOR
The Aquatics Department is looking for Swim Instructors!  The Swim Instructor is responsible for providing swimming instruction to people of all ages, following the YMCA of the USA Aquatics and Swim Lessons guidelines.  Swim Instructors will provide excellent customer service in a safe, enjoyable, and positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and satisfaction. Minimum age of 16.  YMCA Swim Instructor certification preferred, but will train the right person.  Certifications required within 45 days of hire: BLS, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen Administration. Demonstrated ability to swim in shallow and deep water, and tread water (Stage 5 level swimming skill).

LIFEGUARD
Join the Skagit Valley Family YMCA Lifeguard Team!  We are hiring mature, enthusiastic, safety minded individuals who love working with people of all ages for morning, day and evening guard shifts.  Lifeguard training will be provided and includes a FREE YMCA membership!

TEACHER I, TEACHER II, PROGRAM SUPERVISOR, & SUBSTITUTES
Early Learning Center
The Childcare Department is hiring for our Early Learning Centers. We are looking for energetic, loving, creative teachers for groups of tots and preschoolers. Morning and afternoon schedules vary from 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday thru Friday. Experience with these age groups and lesson planning preferred. Current CPR/First Aid, TB test, HIV/AIDS/BBP training, food handlers permit and DEL background clearance check will be required but not all certifications are needed at the time of hiring.

HOMELESS PREVENTION SPECIALIST
YMCA Oasis Teen Shelter
YMCA Oasis Teen Shelter is hiring for both part-time and on-call Homeless Prevention Specialists. Work directly with homeless and at-risk teens in our community to support them in reaching their goals as they approach adulthood. High school or equivalent degree required, must have at least one year of previous experience working with youth. This is a great opportunity for anyone seeking to build skills in working with young people or social work.

ACTIVITY GUIDE *UPDATED*
YMCA Oasis Daylight Center

The YMCA Oasis Daylight Center is hiring for a part time activity guide. Working with youth 13-17 in a residential environment to play games, cook, art, workshops, cleaning, and much more. The hours are Mon-Fri 2:30-6:30 and weekends 11:30-6:30. Looking for people who can work at least 3 days a week and some weekends.
