Ignite your child’s curiosity through hands-on STEM learning with the Skagit Valley Family YMCA Robotics Club! Participants in grades 2–8 will explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics by designing, building, and programming LEGO® robots while solving exciting real-world challenges.

Our robotics teams participate in FIRST® LEGO® League (FLL), a global robotics program developed by FIRST® Inspires that encourages innovation, teamwork, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Throughout the season, youth will work collaboratively to research a themed challenge, design and program a LEGO robot, and prepare for competition.

Participants have the opportunity to represent the Skagit Valley Family YMCA at FIRST® LEGO® League competitions, where they will compete alongside other robotics teams, showcase their engineering and coding skills, and celebrate their accomplishments with peers from across the region.

No previous robotics or coding experience is required—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to learn! YMCA Robotics Team T-shirts will be provided!

Robotics I: Grades 2–4, Wednesdays, 5:00 to 6:00 PM
Robotics II: Grades 5–8, Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:00 to 6:00 PM

Please note that transportation and competition/event registration fees are not included in the program registration and are the responsibility of participating families unless otherwise specified by the YMCA.
