Donate Blood at the Y with the Red Cross!

The Skagit YMCA is excited to be partnering with the Red Cross to provide community blood drives in the following months! Giving blood is a great way to give back to your community – one donation can save up to three lives!

If you have questions about these events, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or email Blood Donor Coordinator Justin Davies at [email protected]

Our next blood drive is 12:00-5:00pm on Friday, January 27.

Type 98273 or SkagitYMCA into the search field to see available appointments.

Interested in volunteering for the Blood Drive? We’re looking for extra hands to help the event go smoothly! Volunteers would help check in blood donors and will be given a “speed” training 15 minutes before the blood drive starts. Please reach out to Justin Davies at [email protected] if you’d like to volunteer for a 2.5 hour shift!

Please be aware that you must pre-register for all events.

Celebrate the Languages of Love

Whether it’s love among family members, friends or the love of a spouse or partner, we are likely to unconsciously choose specific ways to express and receive love. These ways are called love languages. We’ll explore this topic on Valentine’s Day to strengthen the love ties we have with our loved ones.
