YMCA DANCE PROGRAMS – MOVE, GROOVE & GROW TOGETHER!

Dance is for everyone! It’s a fun, multi-generational activity that builds confidence, improves fitness, increases flexibility, and supports emotional well-being. No matter your age or background, dance brings people together! Check out our upcoming programs below.


SPRING 2025 YOUTH HIP HOP

📅 Program Dates: Saturdays, March 15 – June 8
🚫 No Class: Saturday, April 12 (Spring Break)
🎭 Dress Rehearsal: Saturday, June 7, 5:00 – 7:00 PM (Gymnasium)
🎉 Final Performance: Sunday, June 8, 1:00 – 3:00 PM (Gymnasium)


DANCE ATTIRE & CLASSROOM GUIDELINES

To make sure everyone can move safely and comfortably:
✅ Wear athletic or movement-friendly clothes (NO jeans; skirts okay with leggings or shorts underneath).
✅ Wear clean sneakers or tennis shoes (NO boots, Crocs, or slippers).
✅ Bring a water bottle (ONLY water allowed in studios).
✅ Use the restroom before class to keep sessions running smoothly.


COMMITMENT & ATTENDANCE

Teamwork makes the dream work! We ask all students to commit to the full program.
📢 If you need to miss a class, please inform your instructor.
❌ More than three absences (over 25% of the program) means a student may not be able to perform at the final showcase. Learning choreography together helps build a strong, supportive dance community! Thank you for being part of the team.
